Meeting at your hotel or downtown.
Departure time is usually 8:35 am (from the capital), please confirm meeting place and time.

There are so many options, from very local to fancy places. Ask your guide according to your preferences.
LOCAL DELICACY
Enjoy a coffee and a local pastry at Pastelaria Caju, located in the heart of the capital (other options if not available)
HISTORIC CENTER
Walk through the narrow streets of the old city and look for architectural gems.
INDEPENDENCE SQUARE
The famous place where the Independence of São Tomé was officially pronounced on July 12th 1975..
CATHEDRAL
The first cathedral in Africa, with its traditional azulejos. Climb the bell tower and enjoy the view.
PRESIDENTIAL PALACE
Across the street from the Cathedral... Take discreet pictures only !
PANTUFO FISHERMEN VILLAGE
At the doorstep of São Tomé, a charming fishing village with its wooden canoes along the shore.
